Soppressata Three Pepper Pizza

This weekend I was working on a second version of a pizza that I had made the weekend before. I wanted to give it something that really made it special while cutting away some of the heat from the peppers so I made a smoked gouda bechamel sauce and added jalapenos to the list of toppings from last weeks.

List of ingredients: (bottom to top)

  • New York Style Pizza dough
  • Roasted tomatos (olive oil, black pepper, oregano, salt)
  • Fresh Mozzarella, 4 ounces
  • Pepperoncini
  • Banana Peppers
  • Jalapenos
  • Soppressata, very thin sliced
  • Red Onions, thin slices
  • Smoked Gouda cream bechamel sauce (butter, flour, heavy cream, smoked gouda, pink peppercorns, salt); after baked
  • Parmigiano reggiano; after baked
